Nuuvera was a global cannabis company focused on the medical and pharmaceutical applications of cannabinoids. The company built a strong international footprint, securing licenses and partnerships in key markets such as Germany, Italy, and Israel to distribute medical-grade cannabis products. Nuuvera emphasized a science-based approach to cannabinoid therapy, aiming to develop standardized formulations for various therapeutic indications. In 2018, the company was acquired by Aphria Inc. in a deal valued at approximately $670 million CAD to bolster Aphria's international expansion and pharmaceutical capabilities. Following the acquisition, its operations were integrated into Aphria's global medical cannabis division.
