Company intelligence / Profile preview
Nuvelution TS Pharma was a specialized clinical development company established as a strategic partnership between Nuvelution Pharma and Teva Pharmaceuticals. The company was specifically created to fund and manage the Phase 3 clinical development of AUSTEDO (deutetrabenazine) for the treatment of tics associated with Tourette Syndrome (TS) in pediatric patients. Utilizing a risk-sharing business model, Nuvelution TS Pharma oversaw the operational execution of the ARTISTS clinical trial program, which included the ARTISTS 1 and ARTISTS 2 studies. Following the failure of these Phase 3 trials to meet their primary efficacy endpoints in 2020, the development of Austedo for TS was discontinued. The company's parent, Nuvelution Pharma, which was backed by Blackstone and Novo Holdings, has since ceased operations.
