Nvigorea

Nvigorea is a Swedish filtration technology company developing and commercializing nanocellulose-based virus removal filter paper for biologics processing and water purification. Its products are designed to remove viruses from protein solutions, cell culture media, and water while minimizing valuable protein loss. The company positions its technology as a lower-cost, more sustainable alternative to conventional virus filtration membranes used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Nvigorea's current product line includes flat-sheet filter discs and centrifugal devices for research, process development, and niche bioprocessing applications. The company was founded in 2017 based on research from Uppsala University and is led by technology developed by founder Albert Mihranyan.
