Company intelligence / Profile preview
nVision Medical developed the first and only FDA-cleared microcatheter device enabling minimally invasive collection of cells from the fallopian tubes. This technology allows earlier diagnosis of ovarian cancer—one of the most lethal cancers due to lack of early detection—and assessment/treatment guidance for female infertility caused by tubal dysfunction. Early research demonstrated effective correlation between collected samples and postsurgical diagnoses. The company was acquired by Boston Scientific in April 2018 for up to $275 million.
