Company intelligence / Profile preview
NXgenPort has developed a next-generation implantable chemo-port catheter equipped with microelectronic optical sensors to enable real-time remote monitoring of cancer patients’ physiological status. The system aims to detect early signs of infection and adverse events by tracking blood cell counts and cardiac function between clinic visits. As of mid–2025, the company has completed prototype development, entered into a license agreement with Mayo Clinic for further product testing and clinical input, begun animal studies in swine models, and plans to initiate human trials by late 2025. No published clinical results yet.
