Sage Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapies to treat debilitating disorders of the brain. The company's primary focus is on modulating the GABA and NMDA receptor systems, which are critical regulators of CNS function. Sage has successfully brought two first-in-class treatments for postpartum depression to market: Zulresso (brexanolone) and Zurzuvae (zuranolone), the latter developed in collaboration with Biogen.
