O11 biomedical is a private German medtech/biotech start-up spun out of RWTH Aachen University and Aachen University Hospital's BioTex program. The company is developing RESPILIQ, a minimally invasive oral or rectal therapy/device intended to remove excess carbon dioxide by using the intestine as an alternative respiratory organ.
