Oakwood Healthcare System

Oakwood Healthcare was a major nonprofit regional health system based in Dearborn, Michigan, serving the residents of Southeast Michigan for over 60 years. The system operated four acute care hospitals—Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center, Oakwood Heritage Hospital, Oakwood Annapolis Hospital, and Oakwood Taylor Hospital—along with more than 50 outpatient facilities and specialized centers. In 2014, Oakwood merged with Beaumont Health System and Botsford Health Care to form Beaumont Health, creating one of the largest healthcare providers in the state. Following a subsequent merger in 2022 between Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health, the legacy Oakwood facilities now operate under the Corewell Health brand.
