Oasis Hospital

Kanad Hospital, formerly known as Oasis Hospital, is a premier healthcare facility located in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Founded in 1960 by American missionary doctors Pat and Marian Kennedy, it holds the distinction of being the first hospital established in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The hospital is widely recognized for its excellence in maternal and child health, offering specialized services in obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics. It was established at the invitation of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to address high infant and maternal mortality rates in the region. In 2019, the institution was renamed Kanad Hospital to honor the legacy of its founders and continues to serve the community as a high-quality private medical center. The facility operates under the governance of True North and maintains a strong reputation for compassionate, family-centered care.
