Ockham was a specialized global contract research organization (CRO) that focused primarily on oncology drug development and clinical trial management. Headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, the company provided comprehensive services including clinical monitoring, project management, and regulatory affairs to biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients. Ockham distinguished itself through its deep expertise in complex cancer trials and orphan disease indications. In July 2014, the company was acquired by Chiltern International to expand Chiltern's global oncology footprint. Following the acquisition of Chiltern by Labcorp in 2017, Ockham's operations were fully integrated into Labcorp's drug development division.
