OD Excellence

OD Excellence was an optometry-focused practice improvement and education company serving independent eye care practices. The organization provided consulting, business management support, staff training, continuing education, vendor programs, benchmarking, conferences, and purchasing benefits aimed at helping optometrists transition toward a more medically oriented practice model. Its offerings were centered on practice operations rather than development of therapeutic drug assets. OD Excellence also promoted specialty practice development, including dry eye services, and operated as a member-based alliance for independent optometrists. In July 2018, OD Excellence merged with PECAA, and the combined organization continued operations from Portland, Oregon under the merged PECAA/ODX structure.
