Company intelligence / Profile preview
Ohio Permanente Medical Group (OPMG) was the physician-led organization that provided integrated healthcare services to Kaiser Permanente members in the Northeast Ohio region. As part of the Kaiser Permanente system, OPMG employed hundreds of physicians across various specialties, focusing on a prepaid, group-practice model of care. The group was central to Kaiser's operations in Ohio, which included numerous medical offices and facilities in the Cleveland and Akron areas. In 2013, Kaiser Permanente ceased operations in Ohio and transferred its health plan and clinical services to Catholic Health Partners, effectively ending OPMG's role as a Kaiser-affiliated entity.
