Ohio Valley General Hospital

Ohio Valley General Hospital was a private, non-profit community hospital located in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1898, it served the residents of western Allegheny County and the suburban Pittsburgh area for over a century. The hospital provided a comprehensive suite of services, including emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, and specialized rehabilitation programs. It also operated the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing, contributing to the local healthcare workforce. In 2019, the institution was acquired by Heritage Valley Health System to ensure its long-term financial stability and service continuity. Following the acquisition, the facility was rebranded as Heritage Valley Kennedy and continues to operate as a full-service hospital.
