Oishei Children’s Hospital

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital is a premier pediatric healthcare facility located in Buffalo, New York, serving as the regional center for specialized pediatric and obstetric care for Western New York and beyond. As a member of the Kaleida Health system and the primary teaching hospital for the University at Buffalo's Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, it provides comprehensive services including a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital is recognized for its expertise in diverse specialties such as pediatric surgery, cardiology, and oncology, often delivered through a family-centered care model. Opened in 2017 to replace the former Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo, the state-of-the-art facility is integrated into the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus to enhance clinical collaboration and research.
