Okuvision developed the transcorneal electrical stimulation therapy called OkuStim®, which has been CE marked. Clinical studies including multi-center post-market trials have shown that this therapy can delay progression of retinitis pigmentosa-related vision loss. Patients treated showed significant increases in their visual field after six weeks of treatment at certain stimulation levels. Ongoing studies aim to evaluate long-term benefits.
