Company intelligence / Profile preview
Olsten Corporation was a prominent American provider of staffing and home healthcare services. Founded in 1950, the company expanded significantly in the 1990s, particularly in the healthcare sector through its Olsten Health Services division. It became one of the largest home health care providers in North America, offering skilled nursing, physical therapy, and personal care services. In 2000, the company was acquired by the Swiss staffing firm Adecco for approximately $1.5 billion.
