Company intelligence / Profile preview
Omida was a Swiss complementary-medicine and consumer health company best known for homeopathic medicines and Dr. Schüssler mineral salt products marketed in Switzerland. The company was founded in 1946 and historically manufactured products in Küssnacht am Rigi using homeopathic preparation methods aligned with the Homöopathisches Arzneibuch (HAB). In 1986, Omida became part of the Dr. Willmar Schwabe group. In 2024, Omida AG was merged together with Piniol AG and Schwabe Pharma AG into Schwabe Pharma AG, while OMIDA continues as a commercial brand. The business is therefore healthcare-related and commercial-stage, but it no longer appears to operate as an independent corporate entity.
