Oncodigm BioPharma

Oncodigm BioPharma was a biotechnology company established in 2004 as a spin-off of Biomira Inc. (later Oncothyreon, then Cascadian Therapeutics, and eventually part of Pfizer). The company was primarily dedicated to the development and commercialization of Liposomal Interleukin-2 (L-IL-2), an immune enhancer designed to treat various cancers. Oncodigm was 90% owned by Biomira and 10% by Inno-centre Alberta, with the goal of operating as an independent entity to raise capital and advance L-IL-2 back into clinical trials. However, following Biomira's corporate restructuring and reincorporation as Oncothyreon in 2007, the development of L-IL-2 was deprioritized, and Oncodigm effectively ceased operations.
