OncoMune

OncoMune Pharmaceuticals was a clinical-stage biotechnology company that focused on the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines. The company's lead product candidate, ProVax, was a peptide-based vaccine designed to target prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in patients with prostate cancer. By stimulating the patient's own immune system to recognize and attack PSA-expressing cells, OncoMune sought to provide a novel treatment option for relapsed or advanced prostate cancer. The company advanced its lead program into Phase 2 clinical trials before eventually ceasing operations. OncoMune was publicly traded under the symbol OBMP following a reverse merger, but it is currently inactive and its clinical programs have been terminated.
