Oncotech

Legacy US Company: Oncotech was a leading provider of molecular oncology laboratory services specializing in predicting patient response to chemotherapeutics using proprietary assays. It served over 7,000 physicians and more than a thousand hospitals worldwide before being acquired by Exiqon A/S in late 2007. Its tests included the EDR and DiSC assays as well as IHC, flow cytometry, FISH analysis etc., all performed under CLIA/CAP certification. The tumor bank included over 40k viable tumors.

Current Nordic Company: Oncotech Nordic AB has developed Ophtascan™, an AI-powered mobile real-time detection system for pre-cancerous conditions and all four levels of oncological disease using smartphone-based iris imaging. Clinical validation involved over 13k patients with >95% precision rate; commercial distribution is underway globally with telemedicine partners.
