OncXerna’s lead asset navicixizumab, a bispecific antibody targeting DLL4 and VEGF, has shown promising results in heavily pretreated platinum-resistant ovarian cancer patients with an overall response rate of up to ~43% and median duration of response of six months when combined with paclitaxel. Bavituximab, another antibody program targeting phosphatidylserine signaling to reverse immune suppression, has demonstrated depletion of immunosuppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cells within the tumor microenvironment and potential synergy with checkpoint inhibitors. Both agents are being evaluated using the proprietary Xerna TME Panel to identify patients most likely to benefit from therapy.
