Ondax Scientific

Ondax Scientific was a Spain-based contract research organization focused on clinical development services for the animal health industry. Founded in 2000 and based in Hondarribia, Gipuzkoa, the company supported biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients with clinical trial execution, quality assurance, data management, and related development services across Europe. In October 2022, Ondax Scientific was acquired by Argenta to expand Argenta’s CRO footprint and strengthen its clinical, QA, and data-management capabilities in Southern and Western Europe. Since January 2024, Ondax Scientific has been operating under the Argenta brand rather than as a standalone commercial brand, although the legal entity appears to remain active. The business was oriented to service delivery rather than proprietary drug discovery or therapeutic pipeline development.
