Onkologikoa

Onkologikoa is a specialized oncology center in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, focused on cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and clinical research. Historically associated with Kutxa and operating through Fundación Onkologikoa Fundazioa, it functions as a monographic cancer institute with multidisciplinary care units and a sizable clinical workforce. The organization provides hospital-based oncology services including radiation oncology and related cancer care, and it has participated as a clinical trial site in multiple oncology indications. In 2025, the Basque Government announced that Onkologikoa would be integrated into the public Basque Health Service, Osakidetza, as a publicly owned oncology resource. The center is also part of the long-term oncology infrastructure strategy in Gipuzkoa, including planned proton therapy capabilities.
