ONStor was a technology company specializing in clustered Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions for enterprise data management. The company developed scalable storage virtualization gateways, notably the Bobcat and Cougar series, which enabled organizations to manage vast quantities of unstructured data across heterogeneous storage environments. Although primarily an IT infrastructure provider, ONStor's high-performance storage systems were widely adopted in data-intensive fields such as genomics, medical imaging, and life sciences research. The company was acquired by LSI Corporation in 2009 to bolster its storage networking portfolio.
