Ontario Agri-Food Technologies

Ontario Agri-Food Technologies (OAFT) was a non-profit, member-based organization based in Guelph, Ontario, dedicated to promoting the commercialization of innovative agri-food technologies. Founded in 1997, it acted as a bridge between research institutions, government, and the private sector to advance Ontario's leadership in agriculture, food, and bioproducts. The organization focused on identifying global market opportunities and helping Ontario companies navigate the path from laboratory to marketplace. OAFT played a key role in the development of the province's bio-economy until its operations were effectively ceased following provincial funding cuts in 2019.
