Ontario Caregivers Organization

The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) is a non-profit entity funded by the Government of Ontario that provides support and resources to the province's four million family caregivers. Established in 2018, the organization serves as a central hub, offering a 24/7 helpline, educational toolkits, peer support programs, and webinars designed to reduce caregiver burnout and improve the caregiving experience. OCO works across all ages and health conditions, bridging gaps between caregivers and the formal healthcare system. Its mission is to ensure that caregivers are recognized, supported, and valued as essential partners in care. The organization also provides specialized resources for young caregivers and those supporting individuals with mental health or addiction challenges.
