Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) was a non-profit organization funded by the Government of Ontario dedicated to preventing neurotrauma and improving care for individuals with spinal cord and brain injuries. The foundation functioned as a strategic bridge between research and practice, developing world-renowned clinical practice guidelines for concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. ONF collaborated extensively with researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to implement evidence-based solutions across the Ontario healthcare system. In 2021, the foundation ceased operations following a cessation of provincial funding, with its clinical resources and guidelines transitioned to partner academic and healthcare institutions to ensure continued access for the medical community.
