Open mHealth

Open mHealth is a non-profit digital health and healthcare interoperability organization focused on standardizing patient-generated health data from mobile apps, wearables, sensors, and remote monitoring tools. Rather than developing therapeutics, it provides an open data standard, clinically meaningful schemas, and open-source software that help health systems, researchers, and digital health developers collect, normalize, store, and exchange mHealth data. Its tooling and standards are used to improve integration of device and app data with clinical and research workflows, including FHIR-based environments. The organization positions itself as a platform for bringing clinical meaning to digital health data and enabling more consistent use of mobile and wearable data across care and research settings.
