OpenBeds was a U.S.-based digital health company that developed a cloud-based behavioral health capacity management and referral platform used to identify treatment resources, track bed availability, and facilitate closed-loop referrals across mental health and substance use care settings. The company focused on improving patient placement and care coordination among hospitals, behavioral health providers, social services, payers, and government entities. Its core product provided real-time facility availability, provider communication, analytics, and clinical decision support rather than developing therapeutics. OpenBeds was acquired by Appriss Health in October 2019, and the product continues to be marketed commercially as part of Bamboo Health’s behavioral health referral and capacity management offerings.
