OpSCF, a novel monoclonal antibody targeting the inflammatory form of stem cell factor, has completed a Phase 1a/b study demonstrating safety and tolerability. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2a trial in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis began dosing patients in late 2023. The primary endpoint focuses on improvement in Eczema Area and Severity Index after treatment; secondary endpoints include safety, pruritus reduction, body surface area affected, and quality of life measures. The study includes an open-label extension period for all participants. Preclinical focus also includes fibrotic and allergic diseases. Company collaborates with AbbVie for development of OpSCF. Six patents filed; notable granted patent covers anti-stem cell factor antibodies. Investor BioAdvance participated in early funding rounds.
