Opthea’s lead candidate, sozinibercept (OPT-302), is a first-in-class VEGF-C/D ‘trap’ inhibitor designed for use with standard anti–VEGF-A therapies. In Phase 2b, it showed superior visual outcomes versus standard of care. Two pivotal Phase 3 trials are fully enrolled with topline results expected in Q2 and mid 2025[1][6]. No commercial products yet.
