Opticyte

Opticyte is a private Seattle-based medical device company developing a noninvasive oxygen-monitoring platform for critically ill patients. Its lead product, VitalO₂, is designed to measure both cellular oxygenation and blood oxygen saturation in real time using optical spectroscopy and machine-learning-enabled signal analysis. The company is focused on earlier detection and monitoring of organ dysfunction and failure in settings such as sepsis, hemorrhage, trauma, myocardial infarction, and other acute-care conditions.
