Optimo Medical

Optimo Medical was a Swiss medtech and digital health company focused on ophthalmology software for personalized eye surgery planning. Its flagship product, Optimeyes, used patient-specific eye measurements and biomechanical simulation to create a digital twin of the eye and support prediction and optimization of cataract and related ocular surgery outcomes. The company positioned its software as a CE-marked class IIb medical device for planning, simulation, visualization, and therapy training in eye care. Founded in 2015 as a spin-off of Integrated Scientific Services (ISS AG), it raised venture funding and pursued commercial collaborations in ophthalmology. Optimo Medical later voluntarily ceased operations and entered liquidation in late 2022, with corporate termination recorded in April 2025.
