Oral Health America

Oral Health America (OHA) was a prominent national non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to oral healthcare and education across the United States. Founded in 1955, the organization focused on public policy advocacy, community-based programs, and awareness campaigns to highlight the link between oral health and overall systemic health. Its primary initiatives included "Smiles Across America," which provided dental sealants and preventative care to school-aged children, and the "Wisdom Tooth Project," aimed at improving oral health outcomes for older adults. Despite its long history of service, the organization ceased operations and dissolved in early 2019 due to financial difficulties.
