Company intelligence / Profile preview
Oraya’s IRay system is a non-invasive, robotically controlled stereotactic radiotherapy device delivering low-energy X-rays to the back of the eye. Clinical trials demonstrated that a single treatment could reduce or eliminate the need for anti–VEGF injections in wet AMD while maintaining or improving vision outcomes. The INTREPID trial was a sham-controlled, double-masked study supporting efficacy and safety. The platform received CE Mark approval for both wet AMD and choroidal metastases by 2015[7][10].
