Orbis Medisch Centrum was a major healthcare provider based in Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands, known for its pioneering hospital of the future concept. The facility, which opened in 2009, was designed to integrate high-tech medical infrastructure with streamlined patient-care processes and advanced digital workflows. It operated as part of the broader Orbis Medisch en Zorgconcern, providing a full spectrum of clinical services including oncology, cardiology, and surgery. In 2015, the organization merged with Atrium Medisch Centrum to form Zuyderland, one of the largest healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. Today, the site continues to serve as a primary medical hub under the Zuyderland brand.
