Company intelligence / Profile preview
Oregon Enterprise Blockchain Venture Studio was a Portland-based venture studio and startup program focused on enterprise blockchain solutions rather than therapeutics or healthcare delivery. Launched in 2019 through a public-private partnership that included R/GA Ventures, Moda, Umpqua Bank, Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, Business Oregon, ConsenSys, and Smith + Crown, it aimed to build an Oregon-centered ecosystem for blockchain startups. The studio supported selected companies developing blockchain-enabled products, services, and tools across business use cases such as identity, supply chain, and data infrastructure. Although one cohort included Patientory, a healthcare data blockchain company, the venture studio itself was not a life sciences or biotech company. Available evidence indicates it is best characterized as an inactive or discontinued program rather than an operating healthcare enterprise.
