Oregon Social Learning Center

Oregon Social Learning Center is a U.S.-based nonprofit research center focused on behavioral health, prevention science, and family-centered interventions rather than drug development. Founded in 1977 in Eugene, Oregon, OSLC studies social and psychological processes related to healthy development and family functioning and translates that work into evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, families, and communities. Its work spans basic and applied research, intervention design, and evaluation across child welfare, education, juvenile justice, and mental health settings. OSLC has developed and studied multiple widely used non-pharmacologic programs and reports roughly 20 active projects supported primarily by NIH, the Institute of Education Sciences, and the National Institute of Justice.
