Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute

Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute is an Oregon-based nonprofit bioscience commercialization organization focused on helping translate academic and early-stage life science research into companies, products, and jobs. Founded in 2007, OTRADI provides shared laboratory infrastructure, mentoring, entrepreneurial support, networking, and access to specialized bioscience equipment for startups and researchers. It operates the Oregon Bioscience Incubator, a multi-tenant bioscience facility in Portland’s South Waterfront district near OHSU. Rather than functioning as a therapeutics developer with its own disclosed drug pipeline, OTRADI acts as an ecosystem builder and translational R&D support organization serving biotech, diagnostics, medical device, and related healthcare innovators across Oregon.
