Orgamol was a Swiss-based contract manufacturing organization (CMO) specializing in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and advanced intermediates for the global pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Evionnaz, Switzerland, the company built a reputation for expertise in custom synthesis and complex multi-step chemical processes. In 2005, Orgamol was acquired by the German chemical company BASF to significantly expand its fine chemicals and life science portfolio.
