Orgasynth

Orgasynth was a French industrial group specializing in fine chemicals, fragrances, and flavors, with a significant presence in the pharmaceutical sector. Through its division Orgasynth Industries, the company operated as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), producing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and complex intermediates for global pharmaceutical clients. The group underwent major restructuring in the mid-2000s, selling its fragrance division to Givaudan in 2004 and spinning off its fine chemicals and life sciences business to create the Axyntis Group in 2007. Orgasynth was previously a publicly traded entity on the Euronext Paris exchange. Its legacy in the healthcare sector continues through the operations of its former subsidiaries, which remain key players in the production of molecules for the life sciences industry.
