Orion Diagnostic

Orion Diagnostica was a Finnish in vitro diagnostics company focused on developing, manufacturing, and distributing rapid diagnostic tests and hygiene monitoring products for primary care and clinical laboratories. The company specialized in point-of-care diagnostics, with QuikRead go as its flagship platform, and offered products spanning infectious disease testing, diabetes management, colorectal cancer screening, microbiology, and hygiene monitoring. Originally part of Orion and formally established in 1974, Orion Diagnostica was acquired by Axcel in 2018 and renamed Aidian in 2019. As Orion Diagnostica, it should be treated as a historical company name rather than a currently active standalone company, with the business continuing under Aidian.
