Cancion System
Phase 3- Indications
- Acute decompensated heart failure
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Orqis Medical developed minimally invasive devices to improve cardiac performance in patients with heart failure by augmenting aortic blood flow. The flagship product, the Cancion System, was evaluated in the MOMENTUM pivotal trial. While the trial did not meet its primary composite efficacy endpoint, it demonstrated statistically significant improvement in cardiac performance compared to drug treatment alone. The system received CE mark approval and was available outside the U.S., while an implantable version called Exeleras was under development.
