Osbon Medical Systems was a pioneering medical device company specializing in non-invasive treatments for erectile dysfunction. The company is best known for developing the ErecAid System, which was the first vacuum erection device (VED) to receive FDA clearance in 1982. Founded by Geddings Osbon, the company revolutionized the management of male sexual health by providing a drug-free, non-surgical alternative for patients. Its products became the clinical gold standard for vacuum therapy and were widely prescribed by urologists worldwide. In 1998, the company was acquired by Timm Medical Technologies, though the Osbon ErecAid brand remains a recognized name in urological care.
