BioCubafarma is the Cuban state-owned umbrella organization that manages the country's biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Established in 2012, it oversees over 30 research and production entities, including the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) and the Center of Molecular Immunology (CIM).
