Osiris Therapeutics was a U.S. regenerative medicine and stem-cell company focused on wound care, orthopedics, and biologic tissue products. Its commercial portfolio included Grafix, Stravix, Cartiform, and related placental and cartilage repair products, while its earlier pipeline also included mesenchymal stem cell therapies such as Prochymal and Chondrogen. The company was one of the early developers of mesenchymal stem cell technology and helped pioneer allogeneic cell therapy in inflammatory and transplant-related disorders. Osiris Therapeutics was acquired by Smith+Nephew in 2019 and no longer operates as an independent public company.
