Overview
Lead product candidate NB S101 (strontium malonate) completed a positive Phase II trial in postmenopausal women with low bone mineral density. The study met its primary endpoint by significantly reducing CTX‑1, a biomarker of bone resorption. NB S101 showed greater or equivalent efficacy compared to Protelos® (strontium ranelate), an approved osteoporosis drug in Europe. The company subsequently licensed global rights outside the US for this compound to Servier Research Group. No further clinical results reported since then.
