Overview

OstomyCure has developed the Transcutaneous Implant Evacuation Solution (TIES), a titanium implant system designed to replace conventional ileostomies. The TIES System allows patients with permanent ileostomies to avoid wearing an external ostomy bag by using a sealed port that can be opened when needed. Clinical trials are ongoing in multiple countries, and the device has already received CE marking under previous regulations. A pivotal trial recently completed patient recruitment across several European countries and India; results will support further regulatory submissions.
