Overview
Prior to its merger with Tokai Pharmaceuticals in May 2017, Otic Pharma was a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for ear, nose, and throat disorders. Its lead program was OP‑02—a nasally-administered combination product targeting the underlying cause of recurrent/chronic otitis media and Eustachian tube dysfunction. The company also developed a foam-based delivery platform intended as an improved treatment option for acute otitis externa. At the time of merger completion, OP‑02 had completed or was completing Phase I studies with plans to enter Phase II trials.
