Overseas Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company founded in China in 2011 by Dr. Xiaoguang Wen—a recognized expert formerly at GSK/Pfizer/Wuxi Apptech—with headquarters in Taizhou/Jiangsu plus sites in Guangzhou and San Diego CA USA. The firm specializes in developing proprietary controlled-/modified-release oral drug delivery platforms applied both to new chemical entities and life-cycle extension projects (“second-generation” NDAs). Its portfolio spans CNS disorders such as epilepsy/Parkinson’s/sleep disorders plus metabolic diseases like diabetes/pain management indications—with several assets reaching late-stage development or approval outside China since inception.
